Italians seek damages in U.S. against maker of Vioxx painkiller

TRENTON, N.J. - A group of Italians Monday filed a class-action lawsuit against New Jersey-based Merck & Co., seeking damages after suffering heart attacks and strokes the plaintiffs say were caused by the Vioxx painkiller.
