Sir Nigel Crisp has today announced his annual NHS performance report, with the new health secretary Patricia Hewitt. Some of the key points from the report include: almost 98% of people attending A&E services were seen and treated or admitted within 4 hours no-one waits more than three months for coronary artery bypass grafts or for cataract surgery the inpatient waiting list is at its lowest point ever with 822,000 waiting: a fall of 84,000 in the year and 491,000 from its peak ...
