Flu epidemic to hit 15 more Russian cities this month

ST.PETERSBURG, February 9 (Itar-Tass) - A flu epidemic, which has already hit five Russian cities, is expected to hit another 15 by the end of the month, a specialist from the National Influenza Center of the World Health Organization in St.Petersburg said on Wednesday. The epidemic threshold has been exceeded 11 to 46 percent in Vladikavkaz, Irkutsk, Kirov, Astrakhan and Yekaterinburg, where mostly children have been affected, the director of the center, Oleg Kiselyov, told Tass on Wednesday. ...
