  By Nathan SmithThe Daily News   County residents at high risk of suffering a stroke have a new option for treatment, say physicians at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center.The hospital is offering a new, less-invasive treatment to prevent stroke in patients with carotid artery disease.Doctors say the therapy, called carotid artery stenting, has been demonstrated to have lower rates of death and stroke in high-risk patients than traditional surgery.?We believe carotid artery stentin ...
