Today was the 2005 Minnesota AIDS Walk. It was 6.2 miles following the Mississippi River, and with the thousands of walkers that were there, we managed to raise $550,000 - a half a million dollars to fund HIV prevention education and services in Minnesota. How terrific is that? The 6.2 miles went by really fast. We - team pi (being me, Bertine, and Jenni) - finished in under two hours, but it didn't seem like it was that long at all.
