A growing number of doctors, researchers, and public health experts believe that America is overmedicating itself... both too readily and too carelessly. About 130 million Americans swallow, inject, inhale, infuse, spray, and/or pat on prescribed medication every month. This works out to almost $850 in drugs per year for each person. Whew!
